Projects 2014

January
I have started the year off by finishing up a scarf I started in 2013.  I used this set of instructions by Sandra of Cherry Heart . However, I didn't join the ends of the scarf to make a cowl as Sandra did, I left it as a scarf and added a fringe at either end. I did use the same type of wool though which, is the brand 'Drops Andes'. (Sorry I don't have the colour references as I have thrown away the labels!!)

My next finished project is this pretty little Button Heart.  It was sent to me as a kit from my friend.

February
This month has started with a crocheted hat to match the scarf I finished in January.

My next finish in February was my 'Sampler in Blue' embroidery.  This is now ready for trimming off and making into a small wall hanging. The pattern is a design by Gail Pan.

I also finished a cute little owl ornament.

I completed my 'Sampler in Blue' (A pattern designed by Gail Pan) by adding fabric borders, matching tabs and turning it into a small wall hanging.

I also made a 'Little Hearts' mug rug (but I was too late for Valentine's Day!)

March
This month has started with a couple more mug rugs.  They are my own design and I have used Tilda fabric scraps.

My next finish was a small wall hanging which I am calling 'Daisy Days'.  The embroidery pattern I drew myself and the fabrics I have used are mainly Tilda fabric scraps.

The next project I completed was a cute piece of Hoop Art.  A sweet little garden angel!

I decorated the hoop with paper ribbon to use as a frame.

I used some more Tilda scraps and another individual daisy embroidery to make a cute little pot holder.

In March I also finished an Easter Sampler which was a free project from Red Brolly for the Girls Own Stitching Club and, it is shown on the GOSC 2013-2014 page of this blog.
